This tour is made for those who have limited time to visit the island of Kalimantan and its natural richness. during your short visit to this island you are still able to see all the charm this island has to offer including the head hunter Borneo Orangutan and other unique animals inhabited the island. The tour will give you another teaching of participating the life of Orangutan and the forest itself by planting trees during your trekking.

Tour Itinerary
Day 01 Balikpapan Airport – Samboja Lodge – Black River – Lodge.
Arriving Balikpapan Airport, met and greeted by our staff then take you to take an hour driving to get to Samboja Lodge. Check in at the lodge and observe the Orangutan Island around the lodge. Also visiting the Black River to observe rainforest plants and see birds and long nose monkeys. Lunch, dinner will be served at the lodge. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 02 Samboja Lodge – Rainforest Trekking – Orangutan Island – Airport.
After breakfast, trekking to rainforest. During trekking, you will plant trees to support the rainforest and The Orangutan survival foundation program. The trees you plant will be the food source for Orangutan and other wildlife living in the forest. Finishing trekking, you will be taken to observe Orangutan around the lodge which has developed since 1992 as the area of Orangutan Survival Foundation Program. Lunch will be served on the lodge. On the afternoon, you will be taken to airport in Balikpapan to catch your flight for your next destination.
